Daniel Quintana is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in San Francisco, CA. Many of Daniel’s clients suffer from overwhelming sadness, emotional fatigue, excessive worry, panic attacks, and other symptoms associated with depression and anxiety. He also supports clients who are going through major life transitions, have low self-esteem, don’t feel like they’re authentic in their daily lives, or are addicted to harmful substances. His passion is helping LGBTQI+ clients and clients of color express their emotions in healthy ways.
Daniel teaches clients how to become self-aware with the goal of unlearning the unhealthy patterns, especially those established in the face of oppression, societal expectations, and discrimination. By helping clients gain a better understanding of themselves, their conflict behaviors, and their stressors, he supports clients in finding healthy, comfortable routines. Daniel also works with couples to work through conflicts and promote bonding.
Daniel acknowledges clients’ intersectionalities and strives to highlight each client’s unique strengths. He provides a non judgemental, compassionate space where clients can be themselves while learning more about themselves, their behaviors, their emotions, and their dreams.
