Professional statement

Dr. Daniele Ulian is a Clinical Psychologist whose office is in Pasadena, CA. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, she is currently offering Telehealth sessions via Zoom. Her practice, Be Integreatfull Psychological Services P.C., represents the process of healing and integration, both inside the mind and body and everything and everybody with whom her clients connect. Integration refers to the coming together of parts. So, it is her work to collaborate with her clients to assemble the parts of themselves to create a full sense of self, connection, value, fulfillment, confidence, and empowerment with who they are in the world. A fundamental part of this process is about connecting clients to resources internally and externally to bolster power, safety, and security. Creating fertile ground to Be and feel great and full!

Danielle enjoys collaborating with the whole lifespan to help navigate self, family, relationships and this modern world. She provides individual psychotherapy and family therapy.

Danielle's areas of expertise include Depression, Anxiety, Trauma of all kinds - small, large, shock, systemic, developmental; shame & guilt; loss of identity & rebuilding sense of self and self concept; relational issues; codependency; life transitions & adjustment challenges; grief; ADHD; parenting; emotional fitness & literacy; communication; vulnerability & intimacy

Danielle's approach to healing is informed by an integrative model. Therapy exemplifies the true meaning of collaboration. She believes in working together to cultivate safety and trust within the therapeutic relationship. It is with the client’s openness, transparency, and motivation to heal coupled with Danielle's life experience, training, passion, empathy and quest for understanding and healing that is the catalyst for healing and empowerment. Together, Danielle and each client will explore life experiences, relationships - paying special attention to early childhood experiences and relationships. Danielle will explore thoughts, perceptions, beliefs, feelings, bodily sensations, to understand attachment and unhelpful programming – including trauma - that may be interfering with quality of life. Working with Danielle also involves creating agency, worth, autonomy, freedom, power, and choice. Danielle incorporates trauma informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, attachment theory, and narrative therapy into her practice.

Life in this world is not easy for most of us and Danielle would like clients to know that they are not alone. Humans are biologically wired to secure a sense of belonging and to furthermore be valued. The conflicts and pain that clients have experienced or are experiencing allow for the opportunity to learn, grow, evolve, and live with authenticity. So, this is your opportunity to create, rebuild and reclaim yourself, value yourself, feel your power & worth and feel truly connected.

Message to clients

It is fundamental in my work with you to provide a safe, understanding, and respectful environment to help promote an authentic and trusting relationship. In our work together, we will explore the richness of your life experiences through your mind and body using talk therapy and your body intelligence to explore your sense of self, relationships, and the beliefs and values you carry about yourself, others, and the world.

We will explore suspected/known trauma, unresolved conflicts that may have developed, knowingly and unknowingly, unhealthy ways of understanding yourself, others and the world; and ways in which you connect with others that may be contributing to unhappiness within yourself, relationships, family, school, work, etc.

I am here to join your life journey, assisting you to embrace your internal strengths in helping you heal, finding your authentic, true self; creating empowerment with awareness & tools, while improving your quality of life. Therapy can be scary, as it evokes a sense of vulnerability, fearfulness, and uncertainty which is a natural response.

Thank you for insisting to live with purpose. If we know better, we do better. Please contact me if you are interested in seeing if we would be a good match for one another.
