Professional statement

Davis Falcon, MA, LPC, NCC is a psychotherapist practicing in Broomfield, CO. Davis graduated with honors from Regis University in 2019 with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has been working in the field of psychology for over 9 years. He is currently a doctoral student in a Jungian Psychology PhD program and is active within the Jungian community in Colorado, attending the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado's annual conferences and participating in a study group run by the organization. In addition to 5 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy, he has experience working with patients/clients in a number of different capacities including outpatient psychiatric rehabilitation programs, community mental health, and inpatient hospital settings. Davis has expertise in working with a wide variety of diagnoses and goals including, but not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, Existential Themes, Personal Growth, and Burnout.

Davis views psychology from a primarily Jungian/Depth theoretical lens, though uses an eclectic and pragmatic approach in providing treatment, using multiple theoretical frameworks. Some of the theories he utilizes in addition to Jungian/Depth include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt, Existential, Mindfulness, Dreamtending, Somatic Experiencing, and is an EMDR trained clinician. It is important to first understand the individual and their unique experience, then identify and utilize a theoretical framework that is most effective for them given their symptomology or desired outcomes. Davis also believes it is important to examine and interact with the unconscious, whether it be through metaphor, symbolism, dreams, art, or any other expressions that may speak to them. Through this approach, all aspects of the Self are addressed and provide the basis for change, resolution, and balance in a way that is uniquely suited to the person.

Message to clients

With so much going on in the universe presently, it is easy getting stuck, frustrated, or lost. Whether it be in the past/future, in our internal/external worlds, or in our minds/bodies. There may have been events in the past that won't stay there, or we find our mind spinning away in the future. I hope that through our work together, we can tap into the healing and transcendent aspects of your inner world and discover, unlock, and empower your inner healer. Through awareness and integration of the different parts of psyche, you can resolve and heal imbalances, stresses, and trauma. You can stay present with yourself and allow the past to inform your future instead of living in the "what if's" and "should have's". Through analyzing dreams, images, and other techniques such as EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness, the power of the unconscious can become conscious and the transformation into your best self is realized. I would be honored to be a mindful guide traveling alongside you on your journey towards your best self.
