Professional statement
The recent years have been exceptionally stressful and full of anxiety for many of us. We can all use therapeutic support to navigate life's transitions, family issues, medical illness, and also grief (to name a few). Having a safe space to process our innermost thoughts and feelings can be a big first step in working towards change. My main goal in treatment is to create a space where clients can be their true selves, express their true feelings, and gain true insight.
I specialize in working with; managing chronic medical conditions, grief and loss, palliative care, advanced care planning, mood disorders, and LGBTQ+ focused support.

Loss, grief, and bereavement - Emotionally preparing for the anticipated passing of a loved one; managing feelings and reactions to a death or loss of significance; support during the process of healing and acceptance
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) - Recovering from the impact of long-term, repeated traumatic events, such as emotional abuse and neglect
