Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWDiane Martori is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice in midtown Manhattan. Diane works with adults who are seeking healing from trauma, anxiety, negative self-talk, and limiting beliefs. Many of her clients are working professionals who are balancing demands from various aspects of life while trying to find a sense of peace and connection. Diane works with clients to create cognitive, emotional, and behavioral change so that they may feel happier and healthier.
Diane's approach is warm, curious and nonjudgmental. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trained in Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500) and utilizes an integrative approach of both mind and body.
Diane received her MSW from Fordham University. She has worked in multiple clinical settings across New York City and has held roles as both a clinician and in management. Diane's experience and education through yoga and meditation has had great personal benefits and guides how she practices professionally. She offers both telehealth and in-person sessions for individuals.

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Childhood trauma - Learning how traumatic events in childhood can translate into adulthood; processing through difficult memories with the goal of moving past the experience and lingering symptoms
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) - Recovering from the impact of long-term, repeated traumatic events, such as emotional abuse and neglect
