Many clients come in seeking support with anxiety and depression, self-doubt and self-criticism, relationship challenges, or seeking clarity around core values and direction in life. Dianna is particularly passionate about serving people at various transition and growth points in their lives, especially when they are feeling “stuck” and need validation and support to find their path again.
Dianna’s training blends strengths-based theories with development coaching and holistic skill building. She focuses on developing a therapeutic connection with clients to encourage safe exploration, self-compassion and body-mind skills that allow them to change their lives. In session, Dianna focuses on identifying root causes of challenges and helping clients find concrete solutions that can allow them to move beyond healing into personal growth.
Dianna’s style is non-judgmental, supportive, and reflective. She provides emotional space that is warm, open, and accepting. Meeting clients exactly where they are, she supports them in determining goals that will allow them to see real change in their lives. She uses active listening to validate client needs and will utilize tasks and activities between sessions to build on progress.
Dianna received her degree in Counseling in 2006. She has over 15 years’ experience working in various clinical and practice settings. She blends creativity and whole-body/mind focus (exercise, nutrition, sleep, time in nature) into therapy, as well as spiritual beliefs/practices. She is an experienced telehealth provider and offers this option to help clients more easily incorporate therapy into regular self-care practices.
