Professional statement

Dianna W Allen is a clinical therapist providing telehealth services throughout Pennsylvania and New Mexico. She works with individual clients from 18 to 108. Many clients come in seeking support with anxiety and depression, self-doubt and self-criticism, relationship challenges, or seeking clarity around core values and direction in life. Dianna is particularly passionate about serving people at various transition and growth points in their lives, especially when they are feeling “stuck” and need validation and support to find their path again.

Dianna’s training blends strengths-based theories with development coaching and holistic skill building. She focuses on developing a therapeutic connection with clients to encourage safe exploration, self-compassion and body-mind skills that allow clients to change their lives. In session, Dianna focuses on identifying root causes of challenges and helping clients find concrete solutions that can allow them to move beyond healing into personal growth.

Dianna’s style is non-judgmental, supportive, and reflective. She provides emotional space that is warm, open, and accepting. Meeting clients exactly where they are, she supports them in determining goals that will allow them to see real change in their lives. She uses active listening to validate client needs and will recommend tasks and activities between sessions to build on progress.

Dianna received her degree in Counseling in 2006. She has over 17 years’ experience working in various clinical and practice settings. She blends creativity and whole-body/mind focus (exercise, nutrition, sleep, time in nature) into therapy, as well as spiritual beliefs/practices. She is an experienced telehealth provider and offers this option to help clients more easily incorporate therapy into regular self-care practices.

Message to clients

The days have gotten busier, noisier, and more challenging. Stress or anxiety about the current state of the globe, or the current state of your personal life, often blend with self-criticism, judgment and comparison that can all interfere in your ability to find joy in your life. Imagine living a life in which your dreams and goals were a higher priority. Imagine being able to understand the core values in your heart and then set healthy boundaries in order to live your life with integrity and wholeness.

I would love to work with you on your journey to healing and wellness. Compassion is a priority in my practice and helping you to be more compassionate with yourself can be the best place to start.

I am a licensed clinical therapist and coach, and for over 17 years I have guided clients who felt overwhelmed, anxious, or full of self-doubt to find the confidence and emotional freedom to define and pursue their purpose in life. I work with clients of all gender and cultural identities and am affirming and supportive of individual needs and goals.

Reach out today and let's see how we might work together!
