Dr. Samantha Dellinger is a clinical psychologist, licensed in Florida and Alaska. She has over 20 years of practice, specializing in treating adults who have experienced trauma. However, she also treats all that may come as a result of trauma: depression, anxiety, poor sleep, isolation, relationship issues and more. Dr. Dellinger has many different treatment approaches and she and the client decide together which will be most beneficial for treatment. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Client-Centered Therapy.
Dr. Dellinger earned her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2003 and completed her residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Although that may seem like a long time ago, she enjoys learning and maintains on top of changes in the field of psychology.
Dr. Dellinger works remotely. She treats individual adults, ages 18 and up. All sessions are provided through Telehealth. Clients can attend their sessions on a phone, tablet or computer for their convenience. She is located in Alaska, which is helpful for clients in small towns that lack services. This is also very helpful for clients in Florida who can have evening sessions due to the different time zones. Alaskan time zone is 4 hours behind EST.
