Dr. La'Courtney Setzer is a Southern Woman with a love for helping others at the tender age of 4. I completed two-thousand community services in my adolescence and received a Presidential Freedom Scholarship from that United States President for this accomplishment. She was elected The First African American State President of Juniorettes, a Junior's Women League division in North Carolina. I was elected Valedictorian of Class of 2009 of Livingstone College, has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University, and completed the doctoral degree in Social Work in June 2022 from Capella University. Dr. La'Courtney is a thirteen-year behavioral health provider with trauma-focused care working with young and seasoned individuals. I've been linked to my spouse for the last fifteen years and have a healthy bond with him. The clinical practice includes holistic-centered practices in African and Indigenous principles. The style utilizes evidence-based interventions in the pursuit of improvement of your life on your terms. I am owner of the group practice, Ase Healing Center, LLC (Delores Place). You may be referred to one of my employees at my group practice and it is directly supervised by me.
