Professional statement

Dr. Dial is a psychologist located in Austin, TX. Dr. Dial works with clients who, from the outside, appear to have their lives together - however, find themselves at a deficit in satisfaction, fulfillment, or joy. Many of Dr. Dial’s clients are high-achieving in their careers, yet have questions about their purpose in life. Dr. Dial works with her clients to set goals and explore options.

As a psychologist and life coach, Dr. Dial supports clients as they consider their future goals and what it would mean to be “unstuck.” Her style is warm and goal-oriented as she teaches her clients how to think through major decisions. She empowers her clients to make decisions that benefit their joy and happiness, whether that’s quitting a job, starting a relationship, or taking a trip across the world.

Dr. Dial earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. With 25 years of experience, Dr. Dial has impacted numerous lives by helping people take action towards healthier, happier lives and ignoring self-judgements, fears, and reservations about what could be.

Message to clients

I remember how nervous I was walking into my first appointment with a therapist. Would they like me? Find me weird? What questions would they ask? Her demeanor was pleasant and she made it easy for me to start talking about what was on my mind. That's the experience I seek to create for my clients--to make it as comfortable for you as I can.

Having worked as a psychologist for 20+ years, I am experienced in helping people open themselves up to change, to find hope through tough times and figure out what's in their best interest. You may not know exactly what is wrong or maybe you don't know what you want and that's okay because we will figure it out together.

I work best with people who are willing to be curious and willing to get engaged in the process.
