I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and am currently completing my doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision, a path I pursued after becoming a veteran. My professional journey spans diverse experiences, from serving as a Psychological Operations Soldier in the U.S. Army to providing counseling in private practice, hospitals, clinics, schools, and the community.
My background includes extensive work in hospitals and primary care clinics, where I developed my skills in empathetic and effective therapy. I specialize in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and integrative therapeutic approaches, particularly with individuals facing trauma, PTSD, and significant life transitions. My experience with Holocaust survivors and soldiers has deeply informed my practice.
My approach blends scientific theory with practical application, focusing on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and employing evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's unique needs. Whether you’re navigating trauma, seeking personal growth, or managing life changes, I offer a supportive environment to explore your concerns and develop effective coping skills.
By integrating my extensive training and real-world experience, I aim to empower clients and help them overcome challenges, as I have done with many others. My approach centers on understanding each client’s individual journey and working collaboratively to create meaningful, lasting change. If you’re looking for a therapist who combines clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to your well-being, I’m here to support you in reaching your full potential.
