Psychologist, PsyDEdward Jenny is a Licensed Psychologist in Southeastern Pennsylvania. He works with adolescents and adults. Dr. Jenny focuses on getting below the surface to understand the causes of people’s symptoms and help them develop better coping strategies. Dr. Jenny is particularly passionate about helping people who want to understand themselves better or get unstuck. He has advanced training in the area of complex trauma and attachment-based therapy.
Dr. Jenny is trained in Psychodynamic therapy, and Therapeutic Assessment, which uses powerful personality assessment methods like the inkblot test to help people understand themselves and open new doorways to change. In session, Dr. Jenny focuses on helping patients understand their dilemmas of change and adopt new ways of coping. This approach helps clients feel more fulfilled and alive.
Dr. Jenny's style is engaging, collaborative, and supportive. When clients first start therapy with Dr. Jenny, they explore what they are curious about. This curiosity helps focus the treatment.
Dr. Jenny received his doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) from Immaculata University. He completed his clinical internship at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia and his post-doctoral fellowship at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis. He has trained with the Therapeutic Assessment Institute in Austin Texas and Italy. Outside of private practice, he enjoys technical rock climbing and hiking. Dr. Jenny is available for remote or in-person sessions and is licensed through PSYPACT to practice in 27 states

Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) - Recovering from the impact of long-term, repeated traumatic events, such as emotional abuse and neglect
