Professional statement

People often don’t see how a presenting problem connects to their past. By exploring the commonalities between their careers, relationships, and themselves, Elisa can help clients see the thread tying their previous experiences and current situation together.

Elisa primarily services artists, creatives, and musicians. Her approach combines solution-based modalities with psychotherapeutic techniques to solve the issues immediately impacting her clients. Some of these might include creative and writer's block, procrastination, anxiety, and depression.

Oftentimes, people unconsciously repeat dynamics over and over again. Pointing out these dynamics can help them see why certain issues crop up and create new patterns with better outcomes.

Therapy with Elisa is a collaborative experience. She will point out inconsistencies, help clients see things from a new perspective, and check in with them regularly to ensure they're on the right track.

Message to clients

A career you love is a source of joy. It also comes with unique pressures that can impact your sense of wellbeing. As a musician and former marketing executive, I get it. Work and identity are closely intertwined. The juxtaposition of "who you are" and "what you do" can deeply impact your relationships and sense of self.

It’s normal to experience periods in your career where you feel stuck, uninspired, or burned out. During these times, therapy can help you see things in a new way, inspiring new passion for what you do.

I create a safe, trusting environment for clients to work through the personal and professional challenges. In this space, clients have the opportunity to examine the experiences that have led them to where they are today. By making connections between themselves, their career, and their relationships, I help clients get clear on their patterns so they can change them for the better.
