Elise has been providing therapy for the past seven years, since graduating from Regent University with a Master’s in Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California, and has specialties in eating disorders, Christian-informed therapy, depression and anxiety. She is credentialed by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist – Supervisor.
Elise is committed to providing flexible office hours for those with hectic schedules. She is available for sessions in the evenings and on weekends. Her office is located in West LA at 2001 S Barrington Avenue, and she also provides telehealth therapy sessions for those who would prefer to receive therapy from the comfort of their own homes.
Elise’s mission in life is to be a catalyst for others’ hope and healing. She’s seen life be messy, painful, chaotic, hilarious, ironic, confusing… dark and light and everywhere in between. She doesn’t believe in clichés or easy answers. She believes in the hard (but rewarding!) work of courageous vulnerability, authentic connection, feeling the feelings, rewriting old narratives, unconditional self-compassion and other-compassion, and wild, unrelenting hope.
