Ellie is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 8 years of clinical experience. She received her Masters in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in 2017 and has been in private practice since 2020.
Ellie specializes in working with people going through life transitions, including people along the journeys of becoming parents, becoming therapists, and experiencing grief. She is also skilled in supporting LGBTQ+ folks, people of multicultural experience, empaths/ HSP's, spiritual seekers, healing practitioners, artists, and academics.
Ellie approaches therapy as a weekly collaborative ritual in which clients can become more skilled at listening and giving voice to their inner knowing. Weaving together tools from somatics, IFS, expressive arts, and ritual, Ellie offers an integrated, whole-person approach in which clients practice finding their own intuitive guidance and collaborate to uncover what beliefs get in the way. Ellie incorporates mental health psychoeducation into sessions and provides practical tools for coping with life stressors. Ellie's clinical style is warm and casual while maintaining a clear and grounded professional role.
Ellie currently meets with clients virtually only.

I am committed to making my services as accessible as possible and reserve a limited number of reduced fee slots. If you would like to work with me but are unable to afford the full fee, please get in touch. If you are a person with financial means (including inherited wealth and class privilege), please consider paying the full fee. This allows me to maintain my reduced fee spots for those with less access to financial resources. Please note that sliding scale is reserved for weekly therapy clients.
While I currently do not take insurance, I can provide a super bill that can be submitted to your insurance company if they reimburse for out-of-network mental health services.
