I am a licensed Bilingual (Spanish/English) clinical social worker and I utilize a trans-theoretical approach that is client centered, considers the individual person in their environment and has included evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy into my treatment.

I have worked with non-profits, governmental organizations, mental health facilities and acute crisis settings for over a decade. My goal has always been to get a good understanding of how people think and why they do what they do. I have assisted individuals to understand and grow in areas such as purpose and destiny, family and relationship dynamics and emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing. I have been able to accomplish this because I integrate my understanding of mental challenges and social work principles into treatment to give me a diverse and unique understanding as to what strategies to implement in order to help the whole person.

I have a wealth of experience in helping develop others and helping them become all they are called to be. I have had the opportunity to counsel children, youth, and adults/families over the past 15 years using different approaches like CBT, TF-CBT, Trauma Informed Care, and will explore current cutting-edge approaches to engage advanced status (DBT/EMDR).
