Message to clients

I recognize that starting therapy can be a scary experience. I believe that every individual deserves a safe place where they can talk through life stressors and changes without fear or judgment, and that most people can benefit from therapy at some point in their lives.

As a therapist, I enjoy getting to step into a supportive environment with you and help you begin to process through difficult emotions and build strength and resilience. I employ a client centered approach, meaning that you are the expert in your own story and experiences. Each session will be built on what feels most important to you and setting goals for what progress means to you. My goal for my clients is to help you develop your unique voice and find coping skills that fit your life and style.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Loss, grief, and bereavement - Emotionally preparing for the anticipated passing of a loved one; managing feelings and reactions to a death or loss of significance; support during the process of healing and acceptance
