Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW Practice: Resilience Lab Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsErika has a gentle, reflective approach to therapy, which allows clients to come as they are and be fully themselves. Whether someone is struggling with identity, anxiety, low self esteem, or feelings of depression, Erika provides a strong, trusting container for them to dig into the root cause of their struggles and find new ways to cope. She might even include some humor along the way!
Depending on her client’s needs, Erika uses a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness. Erika encourages her clients to use their creativity to express themselves and process difficult feelings. For example, she might have her clients respond to a journal prompt or sketch out a scene.
All in all, Erika creates a safe and trusting relationship where clients can express themselves, move through intense emotions, and focus on their personal growth.
