Dr. Erin McKee Psy.D., M.A., is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, trauma expert, Certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher and military veteran. Dr. McKee’s areas of expertise include attachment disorders, traumatic stress and PTSD, veteran trauma, life transitions, relationships, Buddhist psychology, ADHD, healthcare worker work/life balance, anxiety disorders and secondary depression, and LGBTQ+ young adults.

Nimitz air craft carrier, Dr. McKee served 5000 active-duty sailors and marines as the ship's only active duty clinical psychologist, increasing access to behavioral health services by 40 percent. Dr. McKee served as a key member of the Carrier Strike Group 11 Admiral's Counsel on Suicide and Sexual Assault Prevention, while also developing and leading a support group for transgender sailors and their partners.
Since separating from the US Navy, Dr. McKee has worked at a primary care clinic and engaged in individual and group therapies including one focused on women's recovery from trauma and one for transgender young adults; she also acts as a consultant for terra.do, an online climate school, to help students deal with climate change uncertainty through mindfulness lectures.
