Filise Jules is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Boynton Beach, FL who has nearly 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families. She is passionate about supporting those who are challenged by grief, depression, anxiety, or difficulties after trauma. Many of her clients have conflicts in their relationships, including those with partners and with family members. She also helps those who have chronic pain or medical issues that impact their mental health.
Filise’ approach to therapy draws heavily from a Christian perspective. She incorporates spirituality into her sessions, encouraging her clients to explore how their beliefs impact their lives and current situations. She teaches clients how to have more effective relationships, whether that’s through stronger communication patterns or becoming more empathetic. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Filise helps clients develop effective coping skills that can help them when they become overwhelmed by their feelings. She also brings elements of positive psychology into session, guiding clients to implement wellbeing into all aspects of their lives.
Filise earned a Master’s degree from New Orleans Theological Seminary. She strives to offer clients therapy sessions that leave them feeling renewed and refreshed. Her goal is to connect each person that she works with to a closer version of the life that God imagined for them.
