Professional statement

Francis Daniels is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Lubbock TX. Francis is passionate about helping individuals achieve their optimal mental, physical, and emotional health. In particular, Francis has a passion for working with bariatric surgery patients and those struggling with weight management. The decision to undergo bariatric surgery is a significant one that can have profound physical and emotional effects. Francis understands this fully, as she herself is a bariatric surgery patient. Francis believes in providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can process their emotions and work through any challenges they may face during their weight loss journey.

Francis offers client-centered and evidence-based, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Francis works with clients to explore core beliefs about themselves, others, and the systems they exist within, co-creating practical strategies tailored to each client. Through counseling, clients can gain a better understanding of their relationship with food, develop healthier habits, and address any underlying emotional issues that may have contributed to their weight gain. Ultimately, Francis' goal is to help clients build resilience, improve their quality of life, and maintain long-term success.

Francis received her master's in counseling from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX. Francis offers both in-person counseling from her Lubbock, TX office and telehealth counseling to anyone located in the state of Texas. Francis owns her own private practice and is currently contracted with Dr. Patrick Randolph Phd. where she provides counseling services to bariatric clients in Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, Amarillo, and El Paso Texas.

Outside of counseling, Francis is a single mom, involved in her church and is a part of the bariatric community on TikTok.
