Professional statement

Hello.

Doctor Probst has extensive experience, developing a clinical mental health group in Wisconsin and working with many people to alleviate their anxiety, depression, and self-doubt issues. He is also licensed in Arizona. His primary focus is on anxiety, high-functioning autism, and those suffering from bipolar disorders and trauma. He also provides life coaching and career counseling.

He is an advocate and a resource for the neurodivergent, as he also has high-functioning autism, yet has been successful in broadcasting, financial services, and, now, psychology and counseling. Dr. Probst writes books on psychology. He has found that people on the "spectrum" are quite capable of great things, with the right encouragement.

There is a growing awareness of neurodivergent people and the many gifts they have. Dr. Probst provides coaching for school systems, parents, and others who need to better understand the unique and intelligent person before them. The old adage of a 4-1 ratio of men to women on the spectrum is being proven incorrect. Dr. Probst helps many women on the spectrum.

Let Dr. Probst help you with your generalized anxiety, be it from being on the spectrum or life experience/genetics. Anxiety is the enemy of peace and leads to loss of hope and, then, depression. To help your teen, see his new book on Amazon, "A Parent's Guide to Teen Anxiety and Stress". Anxiety really is the root of much suffering.

Message to clients

I use a solution focus in therapy. I build, encourage and elevate clients. I am a true advocate. I help people to overcome self-doubt and self-deprecating thoughts. It seems more and more obvious to me that the best and brightest among us are those who suffer the most. I want to end the doubt, the suffering, and the inhibition of your potential. Did you know that people in some cultures consider Bipolar people shamans? The unique blend of humanity provides extraordinary opportunities to grow, learn and develop a better culture. All people can benefit from mental health care, if it is based on client advocacy, empathy and a desire to elevate the client.
