Genevieve Gonzales

Genevieve Gonzales is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in California and offering all sessions online. Genevieve is passionate about helping clients resolve and heal their painful memories and past traumas, including sexual trauma. Often, trauma leads to the development of anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Genevieve has extensive experience helping clients through their trauma so they can lead comfortable lives free of symptoms. She is passionate about working with women, veterans, and couples.

Genevieve takes a holistic approach to healing and recovery. She teaches clients about the mind body connection and how important it is to pay attention to the body while working on mental health. She brings knowledge about nutrition so clients’ bodies are strong as they tackle what’s on their mind. She practices Rapid Resolution Therapy, clients address their immediate trauma reactions and symptoms. She also incorporates hypnotherapy and IMAGO therapy. Her clients leave therapy feeling as if the dark cloud hanging over them has dissipated, and they gain tangible tools to bring with them into their daily lives to decrease their distress.

Genevieve earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University. She is currently earning a PhD in Metaphysical Sciences and Transpersonal Counseling. She has membership to the National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists and Institute of Rapid Resolution Therapy. She strives to create transformational sessions with clients so they can make major changes in their lives, moving forward after trauma.
