Glen Cross is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse (including alcohol, cocaine, and opiates), couples counseling, and codependency. He also has extensive experience working with couples who are navigating infidelity and members of the LGBTQIA community.
Glen primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Motivation Interviewing (MI), depending on a clients’ history and goals. He helps his clients explore their feelings and develop plans for how they are going to combat them. This includes developing a support system and a list of resources. When working with couples, he focuses on validating both individuals and helping them improve their communication.

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Substance abuse - Reducing and preventing the negative impact of drug and alcohol use and addictions on physical, emotional, and relational health
Couples counseling - Addressing relationship challenges and life transitions; strengthening communication and feelings of security, desire, connection, and love
Codependency - Development of healthy boundaries in relationships; strategies for increasing individual self-esteem and autonomy; coping mechanisms for separation and individuation
