Guisela Pinto Caballero is a bilingual therapist in Providence, RI offering therapy sessions in English and Spanish. She sees clients for depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and self-esteem. She also has a particular interest in immigration issues and offers mental health evaluations for specific immigration cases. She is currently developing her private practice to support particular immigration cases. Guisela also offers empowerment coaching on a private-pay basis.
Guisela supports clients with depression through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, breathing techniques, and supportive therapy. She allows clients to validate their emotions before developing concrete steps for overcoming emotional and physical symptoms. She offers therapy in a safe, supportive space for clients to process their emotions and heal. In empowerment coaching, Guisela works with clients who are functioning at a high level in daily life and are ready to take their lives to a new level.
Guisela received her MSW from Rhode Island College and has worked in various settings including a hospital and a sexual assault agency. While Guisela sees clients ages 18 years old and up, the focus of her practice is individuals 25 - 55 years old.
In addition to therapy services, Guisela offers empowerment coaching and mental health evaluations for specific immigration cases.

Empowerment coaching (private pay only) - Helps clients who are functioning well work towards the next level of personal and professional goals; provided for clients utilizing private pay
Self-esteem - Cultivate stronger sense of self; increase assertiveness, confidence, and self-compassion
Acculturation issues - Processing social, cultural, and psychological changes between native and adopted cultures
Women's issues - Special focus on working with women age 25-55 to process identity, relational, and professional challenges
Guisela has a 48-hour cancellation policy for her clients.
