Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW Master of Social Work, MSWHadil Penalvert is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Irvine, CA. Hadil has over 10 years of experience working with children, young adults, and adults. She specializes in working with children and women whose trauma histories impact their current daily lives, whether that’s through depression, anxiety, or attachment issues. Many of Hadil’s clients feel like they aren’t coping well with stress, which leads them to feeling emotionally exhausted or unmotivated. They also suffer from low self-esteem, and would like to take steps to move forward.
Hadil is an interactive, warm therapist who enjoys bringing a holistic approach to therapy. With her background and credentials in yoga, she believes that strengthening the mind-body connection can help individuals learn more about how their bodies react to stress. She is also certified to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which can help people process through and overcome their traumas. When working with Hadil, clients recognize patterns in their lives and replace those patterns with healthier alternatives. When working with families, Hadil guides parents through healthy interaction with their children, and endeavors to offer everyone a space to talk openly about their feelings.
Hadil earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She seeks to empower her clients to live full lives, without their past experiences acting as roadblocks to happiness.
