Message to clients

Life can be challenging, messy and painful. Life can also be exciting, joyful and healing. No matter where you are in life, the journey of life is always changing. Whichever type of change you believe is best for you, I do believe that change is best accomplished with others, in collaboration, not in isolation. I feel privileged to walk alongside individuals navigating the inevitable difficulties of life. My goal is to provide you with a safe space in which to sort through these difficulties, while working toward mutually agreed upon goals.

During our first session together, I will invite you to share only as much information as you feel comfortable sharing. You determine the speed at which we work based on your level of comfort. I trust the counseling process, including however your process needs to look, for you to find the same healing myself and others have found through counseling.

Regardless of that process, my role remains the same. I serve as a guide to help lead you toward healing using methods most suited to your needs. I am your advocate who will affirm you and your experience while also providing some tough love along the way, but with an unconditionally accepting stance, I trust we can accomplish a lot together.
