Message to clients

Hello there! Congrats on the brave choice you have made to reach out for help! I have a passion for helping people find healing and connection in their lives and relationships. You might be looking for a therapist who seeks to understand you, be with you in hard things, and help you to move from where you are to where you want to be. Well, you have come to the right place! I offer a safe, judgment-free place for you to lay aside your image and come have a real in depth conversation about whatever may be bothering you.

My counseling style is warm, engaging, and interactive. I believe in treating every person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines client centered treatment while also often utilizing emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral counseling approaches. This is a fancy way to say that I am knowledgeable in a wide range of therapy practices and modalities.

Since so much of the hurt in our lives happens within relationships, I believe healing must happen within the context of relationship: relationship with self, relationship with therapist, and/or relationship with others. I offer a safe environment for you to face the issues you'd like to address and heal from the things that are holding you back. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, or grief and loss, we can work together to facilitate change in your life.
