Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW Masters of Business Administration, MBA Licensed Addiction Counselor, LACHarrison P. Crown, LCSW, LAC, MBA, is a dually licensed clinician who has worked at inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. Since starting his own private practice, he has had training and experience treating alcohol and substance use disorders, mental health, crisis management, family and couples counseling, and life coaching. Having also obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver, he also has experience working with professionals who are in need of coaching or therapeutic support.
Harrison received his Bachelors Degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University in 2012 where he majored in Television, Radio, and Film as well as English and Textual Studies. He spent 10 years as a filmmaker and writer until he switched career paths and received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver in 2019. He then received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver in 2022.
Harrison's experience with directing people has been paramount in his ability to understand individuals on a deeper level and help them navigate situations.
Harrison's approach to therapy comes from a family systems and solution oriented approach. Having had extensive training in family systems, it is in his strong belief that the entire family should be viewed as the patient as opposed to solely the identified patient. He feels treating the entire system allows for ultimate healing and creates a pathway for all individuals to move forward. While the work will primarily be done with the client, it is important to, at minimum, discuss the family system to better understand where the individual client comes from and what may have impacted them throughout their life.
Currently, Harrison is solely providing telehealth services; however, he will be moving to a telehealth/in-person hybrid soon!
