Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSWHeidi Bailey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides online counseling services to high-achieving women throughout the states of North Carolina and Tennessee. Heidi is passionate about working with women who find themselves feeling stuck in career, life and relationships. Often, Heidi’s clients look successful and fulfilled from the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, lost, or disconnected. Heidi helps her clients break free from the chains of perfectionism, people pleasing and self-sacrifice.
Heidi provides a safe space for her clients to talk about their feelings and ideas. She believes that therapy should be a space where clients learn about themselves through self-observation as well as an outside perspective. Heidi is an existential oriented therapist who encourages her clients to dig deep to discover their truths in order to live a more connected and meaningful life. She integrates feminism, existentialism, and compassion into her sessions and also brings diverse mindfulness practices that her clients can use in their daily lives.
Heidi earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and has over 22 years of diverse social work experience across populations and programs. Her goal is to boost client authenticity and empower her clients to prioritize their own mental health by implementing a practice of boundaries, communication and mindful self-awareness. Her style is kind and engaging, yet directive.
Stress Management for Women - Sexism and gender stereotypes impact the weight that women are expected to carry. The scales are unbalanced and the beliefs outdated. Start managing stress by getting honest with yourself, communicating what you need and setting boundaries so you have space to start taking care of you.
Life Transitions for Women - Get to know yourself with focused deep dives for self-discovery so when you step into your new season of life, you can do it from a place of acceptance and with a solid foundation of self-knowing. You will be making the moves instead of waiting for permission or an invitation.
Relationships for Women - Reconnect with yourself and tune into your body and your emotional needs so you have the bandwidth to reconnect with your partner. Release the shame and fear that has kept you from doing what is right for you because you deserve pleasure too.
