Psychologist, PsyDDr. Helen Stevens is a clinical psychologist in Westchester, NY. She provides individual therapy to adults and young adults, and her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
Dr. Stevens often works with young adults in their 20s and 30s who find themselves stuck in patterns and behaviors that aren’t making them happy – but which they don’t know how to change themselves. That might include choosing the wrong romantic partners or undermining their own success at work. Dr. Stevens is dedicated to helping clients increase their awareness of these dynamics and shift their approach in transformative ways.
Dr. Stevens creates a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where clients are encouraged to be curious about their struggles and their strengths. She works collaboratively to understand what’s getting in each client's way, and to build space for them to experiment with new ways of relating to themselves and to others. Treatment goals and direction with Dr. Stevens will be guided by each client's needs and desires. In addition to goals, Dr. Stevens hopes to help clients to develop more flexibility and freedom in their lives so that they can grow in the directions they desire and experience more joy and fulfillment in their day-to-day.
She looks forward to working with you.
