Professional statement

Hollis specializes in neurotrauma (concussions, brain injuries), neurodegeneration (like dementia), cognitive changes (post-COVID, illness), self identity, and psychological trauma (PTSD). Her background in physical health, biomedical sciences, performance psychology, and trauma psychology promotes her work as a therapist who will ask about and support your nutrition, hydration, exercise, sense of self, purpose in life, and your interpretation of the world, because they are all linked. By supporting the health of our body and physical brain we can access the full abilities and power of our mind.

Note: If you do not see your insurance we will likely be able to apply to be a provider with any insurance. This process can take a little time but may be worth it for you.

I see clients in person in Grand Junction, CO and virtually all over Colorado.

Message to clients

Hollis' clients want to live a life that they command, to be kings and queens of their own fate, and to embody joy, ease, and grace.

I believe that my job as a therapist, metaphorically, is to find your soul. My job is to soothe the wounds you bring, to engage you as your own protector, advocate, and the hero in your story. To demand that you see yourself fully, understand reality as it is, and to choose actively how to exist in this world, now you remember your truth.

Therapy is a commitment, to your self and to me. It can be both challenging and affirming. Come ready to try new things, to answer tough questions, and to think differently. Let's do this.

If anything noted here sparks something in you, please reach out. You deserve to work with someone who speaks your language, sees your world, and is excited to walk along side you as you heal and empower yourself.
