Master of Science, MS - Mental Health Counseling Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, LPC-AJaime Ladnier is a Counselor located in Mobile, AL. Jaime’s goal is to help clients define and achieve happiness in their lives. Many of her clients start therapy because they feel unfulfilled with their lives. Others try to reach society’s idealized standards of what “happiness” looks like, only to feel disappointed when it doesn’t lead to the expected outcomes. This can lead to anxiety, depression, or even trauma. Jaime works with clients experiencing difficulties in their emotional lives so they can arrive at their place of happiness. As an US Air Force veteran, Jaime is also passionate about helping active military and veterans, as well as their families.
Jaime tailors her approach to treatment based on the client’s individual personalities, goals, and roadblocks. She is a flexible therapist who enjoys collaborating with clients throughout the therapy process, as she believes that clients are the experts of their own lives. Clients learn how to become aware of their thoughts and feelings, as well as any specific triggers that lead to discomfort. They also learn the strategies of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and narrative therapy. By encouraging clients to examine their motivations, Jaime helps clients make meaningful change to their lives towards a place of higher fulfillment.
Jaime earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She empowers her clients to take charge of their lives and to define what makes them feel the best that they can. As an eclectic therapist, she pulls from a wide range of therapy modalities to find what works best for the client as they go through their mental health journey.
