Dr. Siegel specializes in individual therapy with adults who are experiencing issues around anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. Dr. Siegel particularly enjoys working with college and graduate students struggling with academic pressures, social issues, and the transition into the "real world" after graduation. Dr. Siegel is passionate about helping her clients navigate important relationships in their lives, whether with intimate partners, family members, or children. Dr. Siegel also welcomes women at any stage in the pregnancy/postpartum journey.

Dr. Siegel blends insight-oriented and cognitive-behavioral approaches to help her clients reach their fullest potential. By developing a greater understanding of how their past experiences and relationships inform who they are today, Dr. Siegel helps her clients learn to be more compassionate and accepting of themselves. Dr. Siegel also helps her clients develop skills to cope with difficult emotions and change the way they interact with their negative thoughts.

Dr. Siegel's priority is for clients to feel safe, supported, and comfortable as they begin their therapy journey. Dr. Siegel's style is interactive and warm. She brings authenticity and humor to her work and believes the connection between the therapist and client is what makes therapy most successful.

Message to clients

It is incredibly empowering and healing to be able to say things out loud that have previously been unspoken. My hope you can feel comfortable sharing the deepest parts of yourself with me and know that you are safe, accepted, and not alone. Starting therapy, whether it's your first time or your fifth time, takes a great deal of courage and strength. It can be hard to carve out time to take care of ourselves, especially when we're feeling at our worst. I am happy to answer any questions you have about my practice and look forward to starting this journey with you!
