Jamie Wendt is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Westlake Village, California. She specializes in women's issues, young adults and children's mental health, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Being a young adult comes with a lot—figuring out your future, managing relationships, dealing with stress, and trying to keep it all together when it feels like too much. Maybe anxiety is making it hard to enjoy things, or you feel stuck in your head, second-guessing yourself. Maybe you’re feeling drained, unmotivated, or just not like yourself. It can be hard to talk about, but that’s where therapy comes in.
I work with college students and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and major life changes. My approach is direct, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. I won’t just sit back and nod while you talk—we’ll actually dig into what’s going on, figure out what’s making things feel so hard, and find real ways to make it easier. No pressure, no judgment, just space to be honest and work through things at your own pace. You can do therapy from the comfort of your dorm room or house, or come in person if that feels right for you.
If any of this sounds familiar, let’s talk. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.
