Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsJane offers insight and empathy through the more difficult aspects of life. She works with clients who are experiencing major life transitions, exploring their sense of self and/or spirituality, reexamining their relational patterns, and are looking to develop a stronger mindfulness practice. She has helped many who suffer from depression, anxiety, loss, grief, trauma, PTSD, codependency, crisis, and chronic illness and pain. Her approach is trauma informed and LGBTQ+ allied.
Once a safe therapeutic container has been established, she will work with you to understand the underlying patterns contributing to your struggles. She curtails her approach to your needs pulling from psychodynamics (looking at how early relational patterns affect our current relationships), Depth psychology (Jungian and post-Jungian theory that values image, dreams and metaphors as pertinent information about your process), and Buddhist psychology (fostering awareness of one’s habitual thoughts and behaviors). Taking what is relevant for you and leaving the rest, Jane will work with you to find your own unique ground and path towards becoming more aligned with your authentic self.
Jane has worked with a wide variety of clientele ranging from adolescents to the elderly. Her training included specializations in queer youth issues, women’s issues, and end-of-life mental health. She offers telehealth session to residents of California, and in-person session in Los Angeles.
