Message to clients

So much of my own life's journey has been about learning to understand myself, give myself compassion, and develop confidence in myself in order to know what I want, need, and what's no longer serving me. I'm passionate about helping my clients to develop the same insights to make positive changes in their own lives.

From the time I was a teen I knew I wanted to do this work. Overcoming my own struggles inspired me to help others do the same. I believe I offer a unique perspective, a certain "realness" you don't see all the time. I'm personable, genuine, and down to earth. When we talk you'll feel at ease like you're talking to a friend. I'll ask you for updates on things you've mentioned in previous sessions because as your therapist, you have my full attention and commitment to your care.

I realize that starting therapy is a big step and I'm dedicated to creating a comfortable, non-judgmental, and safe space for you during your sessions. I will meet you right where you're at and work at your pace to meet your treatment needs and goals. I will encourage you but I will also be real with you when your negative self-talk and thinking patterns are keeping you stuck. I'll show you how to make room for kindness, self-compassion, and change in your life. I'm ready to invest in you, are you ready to invest in yourself?
