Message to clients

Peace! My name is Jarvis Burks and I am a Licensed Social Worker providing professional mental health services and support to teens and young men in Chicago for 8 years and counting.

I was born and raised in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the west side of Chicago. I attended daycare, elementary school, and high school all in the same neighborhood. This reality taught me the beauty and importance of Community and Support.

I’m passionate about building community and supporting men aged 18-35 in navigating life’s challenges, building resilience, and finding balance. Using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, I strive to empower clients to understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative, meaning we work as a team to uncover solutions that fit your unique needs and life. I am committed to supporting you in turning your challenges into opportunities for growth.

Whether you're managing stress, dealing with relationships, or seeking personal growth, my goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration and positive change. Together, we’ll work on developing practical tools to help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your life.
