Jasmine Appleberry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who works with adults facing life transitions, existential questions, uncertainty, tension, or, discouragement in spite of trying to heal and grow. While they may have many strengths, her clients may have difficulty believing in their own unique qualities, or struggle to feel as grounded and purposeful as they would like. Handling so much alone, they may feel overwhelmed by their stressful situations, or stuck emotionally, even as they are able to function well in other areas. Her clients range from: recent college graduates; career changers; empty-nesters; retirees; and, anyone navigating the difficulties of anxiety, depression, family or relationship tension, loneliness, loss, or low self-esteem. With a background in private practice and in medical settings, Jasmine also has expertise in the emotional complexities of adjustment, grief, transformation, and fulfillment, and relationship and family dynamics in times of obstacles.
Alongside more insight-oriented work, including learning how the past informs the present, Jasmine helps clients build practical life skills. In session, she is interactive, provides feedback, and uses humor when appropriate. Jasmine's style is authentic, honest, and transparent. She believes every person deserves to be able to be truly effective and lead a more rewarding life.
Jasmine utilizes a mindfully-driven and integrative approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She helps clients learn to identify patterns in thoughts and emotions, to move forward.
Open and accepting, Jasmine’s office is a safe and supportive space of all backgrounds, and she is also very sensitive to the unique challenges facing members of the LGBTQ+ community, and affecting all ages of adults.
Jasmine practices telehealth with clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She offers video calls or phone sessions, which many find helpful.
