Jenhi Garcia, LCSW is a holistic therapist who brings together somatic therapy, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and self-compassion to help clients to pursue goals with a sense of clarity and ease, care and connect with people while maintaining healthy boundaries, find their true self, and heal the trauma or patterns that may be getting in the way. Jenhi specializes in working with clients who have made sacrifices and put so much energy into trying to build wonderful lives but find that goal or accomplishment has created the sense of security, peace, or joy they've been searching for. She creates a nurturing space where clients can learn to regulate and relax, access their creativity or softness, tap into their true identity, find the safety to be vulnerable and learn to deepen their relationships, and reconnect with ease and enjoyment.
A session Jenhi is warm, friendly, and fluid. She focuses on working with your whole nervous system including shifting patterns of thoughts and actions so that you can make choices that align with your values, helping you to learn new ways to process and relate to your emotions, and supporting you in befriending your survival mind so you can learn to regulate and create the sense of safety you need to make meaningful changes.
Jenhi is EMDR trained and has extensive experience in working with a diverse population with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, identity issues, trauma including racial and intergenerational trauma, and life transitions. Jenhi's practice is inclusive and affirming space for BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA2S+ people, and those who have experienced marginalization or oppression to experience healing.
Jenhi sees all of her client's remotely and currently has availability Monday - Thursday in the afternoon.

Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Life purpose & meaning - Exploring one’s beliefs and values around life purpose, meaning, and spirituality; addressing the barriers to living a life that feels fulfilling, including instigating change or developing new habits
