Jennifer Benoit is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Miami, Fl. Jennifer specializes in maternal mental health.
Motherhood is the hardest job on the planet! During the postpartum period, new mothers may find that they have questions about their new identity, a sense of grief over the life they once had, and even with all the excitement there may still be some sadness and the looming question of "Is it supposed to feel like this?" Whether it's clinical issues such as perinatal mood disorders (including postpartum anxiety and depression) or just a sense that something is off and it would be nice to have someone to process it with, Jennifer can help.
Jennifer received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami majoring in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Business Management. She also received a Master's degree in Social Service Administration from The University of Chicago. Jennifer has nearly 15 years of experience in the mental health field across a variety of settings. She has provided therapy to help treat mood disorders, address trauma-related symptoms, adjust through life transitions, deal with conflict in relationships, self-esteem issues, as well as a host of other concerns. Jennifer has received certification and/or training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused therapy, Trauma-focused CBT, as well as Life Coaching.
