Jennifer Bull is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing telehealth with California clients. Jennifer works with young adults and middle-age professionals who have achieved some degree of outward success, but who feel that they are somehow falling short. Jennifer's clients frequently struggle with intense self-criticism, maintaining close relationships, and making important decisions that could propel their lives forward. Perceptions of poor choices, procrastination on important activities, and unwanted behavior patterns have led Jennifer's clients to experience bouts of anxiety, panic attacks, unexplained anger, depression, and sometimes despair. These mental health difficulties cause even more confusion and fear when clients feel that everything in their life should be "going right."
Jennifer draws on training from multiple modalities, and is particularly influenced by Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). In this approach to therapy, Jennifer guides clients to understand and move beyond defensive behavioral and relationship strategies which might have gained them love and even survival in their earlier life, but which are now holding them back. Through a secure and safe therapeutic environment, Jennifer and her clients can process intense emotions and troubling experiences to move towards a fuller understanding and embrace of the client's true and core self, leading clients to more authentic, integrated ways of being and living.
Jennifer brings broad professional and life experience to her private practice. In addition to a Master's in Counseling Psychology and extensive clinical practice, Jennifer has an MBA and worked in the private and nonprofit sectors for more than 25 years. Jennifer has been successfully married for more than 15 years and has two school-aged children. She practices remote telehealth therapy from her offshore location in the Atlantic region.
