Professional statement

Dr. Jenny Shields is dedicated to supporting women who balance the dual pressures of career and family responsibilities. As a licensed clinical psychologist and certified healthcare ethicist, she understands that many women excel both professionally and as caregivers but often feel exhausted by the continuous quest for balance and perfection. Her practice provides a restorative space for women to explore their identities, manage stress, and navigate significant life transitions such as motherhood, career changes, or loss.

Message to clients

As women, we're often cast in the role of superheroes—juggling careers, families, and the unseen emotional labor that keeps our worlds spinning. We're celebrated for our strength and resilience, but the truth is, sometimes we're simply exhausted. You're not alone if you're overwhelmed by the constant demands to excel professionally, cherish motherhood, manage a home, and pursue personal passions, all while staying composed.

In a world that often expects you to be superhuman, it’s perfectly okay if you've found yourself feeling out of breath.

Welcome to Your Breathing Space.

Whether you’re a career climber powering through the 9-to-5 grind or a mighty mom juggling kids and chaos, it’s time to steal a moment for yourself.

My goals is simply this: To provide you with evidence supported, compassionate, and collaborative psychotherapy services that are individually tailored to meet your health goals and enhance your emotional wellbeing. Our sessions provide a supportive space for you to tackle your challenges head-on and get you feeling like yourself again.

You deserve to do more than survive each day.

I'm here to help you reclaim what has always been yours: a life that is fully human, wonderfully messy, and profoundly beautiful.
