Jenny focuses on building a trusting, therapeutic relationship with clients, one in which clients feel they have an ally.
Jenny Sitzer utilizes an evidence-based approach to treatment, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has a special interest in helping adults of all ages navigate health behavior change, including smoking cessation and developing a healthy relationship with food. Additionally, she has over ten years of experience working with the U.S. Veteran population and providing trauma-informed care.
Jenny Sitzer currently lives in Germany with her family and enjoys connecting with clients back home in Illinois. Due to the time difference, Jenny's primary availability is is the early morning CST.

Performance anxiety - Underperforming, due exclusively to anxiety
Social anxiety - Helping clients increase confidence and ability to interact with others amidst fear of being judged, worry about embarrassment, or concern about offending others
Climate anxiety - Coping with the unique stress created by climate change, including managing any overwhelming feelings of impending disaster and finding outlets for advocacy
Worry - Learning how worry shows up in one’s life and exploring how worry impacts daily life, relationships, and wellbeing; developing coping skills to mitigate the impacts of worry
