Professional statement

Hello there! My name is Jesse Greene and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor the state of Florida. I completed my M.S. in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in 2016 and in 2012 I earned a B. A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida. In the last 6 years I have helped individuals and families seek meaningful change in their lives. My approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Existential Therapy when appropriate to focus on meaning and purpose in my client's lives.

I have worked with many clients from all walks of life in my work and in multiple settings here in Florida. My experience has provided me with a deep insight and a practical view of the problems people face in their personal lives. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

Message to clients

Are you constantly feeling anxious, unhappy and overwhelmed? Do you experience intrusive thoughts, intense emotions and often feel that your emotions and thoughts take over? Are you going through a change in your life right now or confused about where you are heading and would like some guidance from a professional? I know how hard it is to make that first phone call and reach out. I offer individual therapy as well as a weekly support group for individuals facing grief. I am here to help and support you along this process. Hope is right around the corner.

My background is in cognitive behavioral therapy, and existential therapy. I offer individual therapy sessions for adults and my specialties include anxiety, depression and trauma but I have experience working with people that struggle grief, emotional dysfunction, life transitions, and relationship conflicts.

I encourage all my clients to take their time and consider their options before deciding to schedule with me again. You're always welcome to send me an email with questions you may have!
