Professional statement

Jessica Krantz has a passion for helping and connecting with people. After 10 years of working as a school counselor in the New York City school system, she decided to focus solely on therapy. Although she loves working with children and families in an educational setting, Jessica wanted to do more. She values individual connections, family connections, and helping others and believes that her background and passion allow her to help her clients navigate life transitions and stressors.

Jessica has an eclectic and collaborative style and is committed to providing compassionate, practical, and action-oriented therapy. She listens to my clients with an empathetic and nonjudgmental ear and provides warm and direct feedback. Together, you will manage stressors, improve relationships, and facilitate personal growth. Jessica strives to help support her clients in working on whatever they feel is necessary to live their best life.

Jessica's office is located on the Upper East side of Manhattan and Long Island. She seeing clients in person and remote.

Message to clients

I am a licensed psychotherapist who sees individuals and families for long-term psychotherapy. I primarily work with individuals, adolescents and their families to improve interpersonal relationships, manage anxiety, and cope with challenges. I also help with transitions, manage low self-esteem, navigate relationships or family conflict, and help with other life challenges.

Due to the COVID pandemic, there is a stronger need for increased compassion and empathy in order to support others through mental health concerns and barriers to care. Although everyone’s experience is unique, immense uncertainty has been a shared global experience, making mental health services increasingly urgent. Teletherapy has made treatment more accessible, which is exciting to me.
