Life is too short to feel misunderstood or or to surrender to bad relationships, or let trauma control you. One of the foundations of Jessica's practice is help you be free of emotional pain! As Jessica explores the depths of your story, you and her will begin the journey of excavating your authentic self. The process of healing will unearth what you thought were your weaknesses can now become your greatest strengths clearing the road for self-acceptance, growth, and restoration.

AREAS OF PRACTICE
Jessica works with adults, couples, and teens 14 and up, who struggle with mood disorders, betrayal, relationship/attachment issues, grief, and trauma issues. Jessica uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, which are proven techniques that support you with skills to help bring transformation to your lives. Jessica will take great care in helping you deal with difficult issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, work issues, marriage, and couples’ problems as well as other issues facing adults, teens, and college students. Jessica uses a collaborative, gentle and supportive approach.

Attachment issues - Development of effective relational and communication skills; insight into family attachment patterns;fostering healthy family relationships.

Loss, grief, and bereavement - Emotionally preparing for the anticipated passing of a loved one; managing feelings and reactions to a death or loss of significance; support during the process of healing and acceptance
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Imposter syndrome - Learning how to identify instances of imposter syndrome and combatting any beliefs that one is not enough or does not deserve good things; practicing assertiveness and developing confidence
