Dr. Simons approaches therapy from a systemic lens, meaning looking at all the relationship, cultural, family, and community variables that are impacting the issues. From there, she works from a client-centered and strengths-based approach to understand each client's goals and existing resources to achieve the client's desired changes. Dr. Simons uses CBT interventions to help clients operationalize change.
