Professional statement

Jeuri German is an individual and family therapist located in Blue Bell, PA. Jeuri welcomes people of ages 8 and up into his practice, specializing in work with children and adolescents. Many of Jeuri’s clients struggle to communicate with others, including their families. They find themselves anxious or depressed because they find it difficult to talk about how they’re feeling or to set boundaries with others. This might lead to feeling overwhelmed or reduced confidence, as well as constant worry about what’s about to happen.

When working with Jeuri, clients benefit from his collaborative and non judgmental approach. Jeuri practices cognitive-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and he also integrates mindfulness-based activities to provide clients with grounding techniques and relaxation skills. Clients learn from Jeuri how to monitor their emotions and connect their feelings to what’s happening in their thoughts. By breaking harmful thought patterns, clients can avoid the negative emotions that are detrimental to their well-being. Jeuri is a strengths-based therapist who values the unique traits that clients bring into session, and his goal is to empower his clients to express themselves, including communicating their needs to other people.

Jeuri earned an MSW from Temple University and has nearly 10 years of experience as a therapist supporting clients through challenges with their mental health and well-being. He is passionate about working with clients from diverse backgrounds, and has DEI committee experience, helping to advocate for inclusivity in his community.
