Message to clients

As a therapist, I practice a holistic approach because I believe all aspects of a client and their experiences are important in providing effective treatment. I have experience working with a wide range of clients of all ages and diagnoses. My goal for all of my clients is to build a relationship of mutual trust, respect, and communication, as well as a safe environment that fosters vulnerability and honesty. Based on individual nuances, I strive to incorporate principles and skills from various theoretical models, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy.

As an international, transracial adoptee, I am passionate about helping other adoptees navigate their experiences with grief/loss, identity, and other adoption-related issues. Additionally, my personal experience with grief and bereavement (not adoption-related) motivates my commitment to my work with individuals who have experienced loss.

Open to working with children/adolescents 13 years and older.
