Doctor of Psychology, PsyDDr. JoAnna Dias works with adults 18 and older with a brief psychodynamic, interpersonal approach. She invites clients to consider how past experiences and patterns may be influencing current situations.
Dr. Dias has her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, which focuses on diversity, spiritual formation, and systems theory. She also obtained her Master of Arts degree in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. She welcomes clients with diverse backgrounds. Dr. Dias works with clients who have anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. She also works with clients who want to either integrate their faith or spirituality in treatment, as well as clients who are experiencing religious deconstruction, or have no faith identity.
Dr. Dias sees clients virtually through video calls in both California and Texas.

Loneliness - Developing an understanding of one’s loneliness, including its origins and how it impacts daily life; decreasing the occurrence of loneliness by addressing barriers to social connection and practicing coping skills
